Green Valleys
Yesterday, the Monday Morning Painters ventured to Russian Hill Estate Winery in Santa Rosa. So much green. The hand of Man can be seen for miles.

A Field of Poppies
I love these bright orange poppies. This is a scene I happened upon while walking through Paris, Idaho, and is the second time I have painted this picture from my photo.

Springtime at the Lake
My favorite place to paint and I have rendered several versions of this scene. It is Santa Margarita Lake, which has changed somewhat over time. I love the foreground shadow on an unseen Blue Oak. For the last few years, the California drought reduced the lake to an ugly, muddy sludge, so coming upon this view once again, after the prodigious rains we've had, was a great delight.
