The Lupine is blooming here in Sonoma County. I went out with another painter to Geyserville where we found this incredible view. When we arrived, there were cows munching on the Lupine, but they meandered off to greener pastures.
OU this may be my favorite of the first 6 or so....reminds me that fewer (apparent) colors and simplified composition can make a very strong painting. WTG, April Fools day too, la la la.
