Dear Ellen,

Wow! What an incredible painting!

I'm reaching out to you today regarding the North Coast Chapter of California Women in Timber's Annual Dinner Auction fundraiser on November 2nd at Blue Lake Casino, Blue Lake, Humboldt County, CA. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to positive and necessary education, legislation, and communication efforts to promote the forest products industry and sound, sustainable forest management in California. All proceeds of our event go towards scholarships for high school and college students pursuing educations and careers in forestry and natural resources as well as other education events and programs like Forestry Institute for Teachers and Education Day at the Redwood Region Logging Conference.

We would like to invite you to possibly donate an item to the silent or live auctions at our event. Our members and supporters are mostly involved in forestry and other disciplines of natural resources and truly enjoy handcrafted artwork, especially of forested or rural landscapes! A painting or print from your collection would make an excellent and competitive item at our event and would allow us to publicize your business!

If you're interested in hearing more, I am more than happy to send you the Save the Date flyer with all event and ticket purchase details as well as the Donation Letter and Donations Opportunities list. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration, and have a wonderful rest of your day!

Brita,
I left you a phone message on 10/09/18. Sorry I don't look at my blog often, so just noticed your comment. I can donate a painting, but I live in Sonoma County and I'm not willing to drive to Humbolt County, but I can mail a painting to your fund raiser. However, the painting you commented on will be hanging in a show next February, so I cannot donate that one.
